proper ammo for norinco cq 5.56

i have bought only one type of ammo for my norc ar15... mostly due to availability of retail sales where i live (winchester .223 55 grain is the only one i fired, except for one box of remington, which costed me way to much to appreciate it.) i have found one or 2 places on the web to buy different types of ammo both at very decent prices...before i make my purchase.. i've read that the norinco cq will not properly stabilize a 62 grain bullet because of the rifling twist ratio is made forthe 55 grain only.... any experiences shared would be welcomed.

A 1-9 twist barrel, such as the Norinco CQ556 has, will stabilize up to a 69 grain bullet no problem. The older Norinco CQ rifles with the 20" barrels have a 1-12 twist and are only suitable for 55 grain and less loads.
