What is the proper way to repair a wood stock that has checkering on it. I would like to keep the checkering without having to take it off. Does anyone know what the proper way to do this would be.
Thanks Kyler

Kyler,

What repair do you have to do? Is it broken through the wrist (which is checkered), or do you mean "refinish"? A little more specific info would be useful. I'm sure you'll get lots of suggestions once we know the problem.
