Hope it is ok to ask this in this forum.
I have not shipped any firearms for several years, since the days you could send a pistol in a plain wrapper through Canada Post with no declaration.
I want to advertise a couple of revolvers in this forum and need advice on the proper lawful shipping methods.
What do you guys use and which carriers will ship handguns, specifically 12-6 prohibs, also what are the costs for these shipping services these days.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Pete

I have shipped 50 rifles and handguns this last 6 weeks thru Canada Post so:

1) Use a good quality box.
2) Use bubble wrap or styrofoam chips to fill the voids.
3) Ensure you use a quality packing tape on the outside of the box, especially where the box seam exists.
4) Use brown packing paper on the outside and tape that well.
5) Canada Post's own website states not to label it as a firearm enclosed.
6) Send by expedite and signature and insurance.

I have never been asked what's inside and they are not permitted to ask.

WHYLOOK.
