Had the great opportunity to "tour" the whole operation of this fine gun shop today while picking up a few items that I had on layaway for quite sometime. Saw a number of very fine pieces that were all layed out in the in house photo studio. Lucky for me I'm not much of a lever gun fan. Great Cooper selection and a fine selection of Beretta and Browning over and Unders. A real treat to be able to see an impressive inventory of some of the finer pieces of the firearm industry. FS

I was buzzed into the store last Friday when I was working in Lloyd. I did not get to meet Clay as he was not in nor was the new Sako I have on order. I did fondle some new Cooper rifles and will try and show some restaint when I'm there in 3 weeks again.

I was there for the grand opening, but the store was just being set up at the time. I will likely drop in again next month to pick up some supplies.

I go thru Llyod all the time and I have yet to see the store. I saw the new Magnum Gun shop and it was ok. Do they not advertise out on the street and is there a back only entrance or something? According to there address they should be right on meridian street on the good side of the border. Mind you I am half blind most of the time, lol.

Yes, we are on the AB side of the meridian, all signs now up. One block north of the TD bank...

Prophet river is on 50ave between 50st and 51 st, on the west side right next to BJ cleaners, and yes to all you guys asking Clay is a great guy who knows hes ####. If you go that way right now there is a bunch of work going on on the sidewalks, but you can still get in there.

I'll toss my hat in for the one and only Mr Smiley...Not many people will take the time to talk to you on the phone, while folks are waiting. Clay is one of them that does tho. Very personable!! He's answered all questions and E-Mails...can't ask for no better service than that in MY books!!!
...pssst...Clay....If them sidewalks out there is causing ya grief....why don't ya come back home to NS...we need a great gun shop here in the Halifax area ;)...or out here in the burbs even....where "we ain't got no sidewalks"...;) ;)

I haven't seen his store, but met him when he was still operating from home and a warehouse (hope you don't mind me saying that Clay). Invited me to his home one evening when I was working in Lloyd, the only spare time I had. He must have the patience of Job, the phone was ringing off the wall the entire time I was there.

Hope to see the new digs sometime soon, need to order a new rifle from him so I can make the trip.
