Prophet River's Handguns and future shipments

Yes, pretty much have to sit back and wait. If your info was entered correctly, AND you have your shooting range listed with PR, thats pretty much it. The retailer (especially PR, but pretty much all online retailers) knows what needs to be input, and would have reached out if anything was missing.
As for the wait, really depends on where you live. Nova Scotia has been absolutely dragging their asses, sometimes taking as long as three (3) whole days to approve a transfer. Not sure where alberta is right now, all my stuff in bc has cleared (up to early july), and in Ontario (and, apparently Quebec)... just be thankful that PR is storing your guns for free. Until Christmas at the earliest...

I'm in Ontario, the worst for transfers from what I've heard.

That was the only Glock left that was not sold out for weeks. I even made a comment about it here.

If you really want to buy one, pretty sure who already got one.

What are you talking about? There was a nearly constant listing of g21s for sale over the last couple weeks, along with several g17, g22, g34 and g48. The 21 was up for about 4 days solid last week. People need to realize that this is the last kick at the can, and they need to grab whats listed if they want it.

I asked one question about it, how is that #####ing? Grow up dude.

He's not talking about you, previously in this thread people have posted links to other dealers when PR was out of stock, and some CGN members got their panties all wadded up about it. PR has come out and said that since they can't source these pews, then they are ok with links to other websites, being the primary goal now is to get maximum number of firearms into the general publics hands. But not everyone reads the whole thread, and some people are excessively militant about anyone mentioning other dealers (although nobody #####es when someone points out PRs prices in comparison to Tenda). PR has great customer loyalty, some people take it a couple miles too far.
Also, lots of people have been complaining 'i just missed this" even though they have been listed for sale for the last three weeks. In the aggregate, it comes across as complaining/#####ing. Don't take it personal, its been stated/asked enough times that, to people who follow the tread, it has become tiresome.

Its not you specifically, its PR (or any other retailer) putting up a post saying this is the last of ###XX that we will be getting. Then for 3-4 days sometimes, they are in stock at a great price. They sell out and without fail a few days after someone who has been a member here for years and has been active on the forum posts "hey I just missed this any more?" Like dude really? Then someone posts an alternative source and he whole process repeats. Right now they have 2 shadows left. How much do you want to bet in the next 3 days someone will post "any more shadows coming?" I understand for something like a Glock in 10mm which have been impossible to find since the announcement, but guns that have been in stock for weeks on end?

The frustration is, this is not news to anyone even paying remote attention. The import freeze was over a week ago. The tap is closed. If you wanted a G21 you either, A - didn't decide you wanted it until 2 days ago or B - you just got your PAL and this is your first shot at buying something. Seeing as you bought other guns months ago, the only logical explanation is you just decided right now that "hey I want a g21." Where people get frustrated is for the past 3 months you could have bought one but now people are going out of there way to help you buy something you could have easily got had you thought about it for 5 minutes when this bull#### was announced.

The comment about hurry up and buy - well that is the consolidated message for maybe spend 5 minutes now. Decide exactly what you want and then the second you see it, buy it. If you want something now, you should have long decided and worked to find it.

Both your A and B are wrong...and C is none of your business.

Dude, I don't really care what your looking for, re-read what I wrote. I'm not attacking you in the slightest. I'm explaining why people are frustrated and you are getting very defensive with people trying to help you.

I don't care about your "C" but if A and B are wrong, then you have confirmed, you have wanted a G21 for months now and you have had a pal for a some time. In that case it illustrates the frustrations others are feeling perfectly.

Namely, it has been in stock for months, and for months you have wanted it but didn't get it. Now people are going out of there way, trying to help you with some sarcasm because of your lack of planning and your getting pissy with them.

So.... Clay, what's today's soup de jour? :)

Folks, what we've seen is simple marketing. Intentionally or otherwise, listing G21s in tranches versus one shot accelerates sales as it is arguably a far less desirable model than a G17 or G48. You get more motivated buyers when they have an illusion of scarcity. PR had G41s as well, again, arguably a better .45 than the G21, and those sold out in a day if I recall. Now for all I know the waves of G21s merely happened that way as inventory is registered; but I would have released in waves too. And guess what, I'm looking for one too now that I can't just log on anytime of the day and get one (for that week or two when PR had them).

What cannot be bought retail, can be had on the secondary market. Just be patient.

And no, I don't go to someone's store and ask for a competitors inventory or address. Clay and gang are being VERY GOOD about this - but it's just poor etiquette man. Start a new thread in General, or just don't do it. Site sponsors pay good money to be here, why piss all over that.

Anyone know how one would one go about reducing the trigger pull of the Massachusetts compliant M&P45 that PR has back to the standard pull weight?
