Proposed Gun Ban

I realize that many of us who hunt, also own handguns. Needless to say, we're very concerned with Martin's insane proposal (that's putting it politely). But I would just like to remind any hunters out there who don't own handguns and are thinking their long guns will never be banned -- think again. Do any of us want the day to arrive when we pick up the paper and see the headline, "All Guns Banned"? This insanity will not end with handguns.

Please, take a few minutes to e-mail the Liberal candidate in your riding, and let him/her know, in a civil way, what you think of this proposed legislation.

I fear that apathy may be our worst enemy...

Right cause he said today he was going to follow the "Australian Example".

The only thing they have left are bolt action rifles and break-action shotguns.

No Semi-autos or pumps. Simply disgusting!

If he had his way we'd be throwing rocks at ducks and spears at moose.

Tex, I totally agree... Until it bites the "average" guy in the butt, they simply say, "What do you need a handgun for anyways..." BUT, just watch when the "next" ban is brought in, they just might take away all repeating arms... Then where would the average hunter be...

The LIEberals are going at this slowly, methodically and eventually your right, it will result in a TOTAL ban of firearms in Canada!

There is no denying that this is a scary proposal by A$$ Clown Martin, but hopefully it will never happen, like most Lieberal election promises.

If we can convince those who vote Liberal in Manitoba and east, it won't matter what Martin dreams up to buy votes....he won't win. Problem is, Liberals seem to be able to buy votes there....I wonder why?

I feel sorry for the normal, common sense people who live east of Alberta.

There are a couple Edmonton ridings that need a tune-up too......Anne McLellan......how in the hell could a sane person vote for that thing.?

Well say bye bye to your semi's. I have hunting rifles military collectables and handguns so I'm fighting this. But the hunters that say oh this is not going to effect me better wake up.
