Props to xlr industries for an excellent chassis

Objective is only 44mm on mine. With Warne high rings and I believe 1" tube

I could see an issue with a 60mm unless u can find some very high rings. I have about 5-7mm of clearance between the rail and scope

I am satisfied now you explained why something sucked yet you bough two,see I'm not too smart so I need to know.See how easy that was. ;)

Just don't like the word sucked to describe something, that's is my big issue, I explained that too already.

I LOVE the word inferior, sounds very exotic and intelligent, it's what I use to describe my shooting skills and ### life!

I am still trying figure out what fitment issues I am gonna have so I will continue to ask questions.

NOW, has anyone ever made changes to the shroud to accommodate a scope objective?I would like to keep the scope as low as I can.

Oh, do you guys think they look cool???? Laugh2

I like how you say "lets move on" Then continue to bring up the issue and continue to ##### about it..............

I used the word sucks.........Seriously, this is your BIG issue? Okay to make you happy I will use the word inferior rather than sucks so that you don't get all bent outa joint about it........... Speaking of things that sound like something a 12 year old would say

Oh look the same question once again, "Why do you have two of them" as if the quantity of stocks I bought has anything to do with what exactly? They were cheap, I wanted to try one, I didn’t know who would get it to me faster, so I ordered one from one place and one from another. Then I sold them because I think they **** Are you satisfied now??

Now are we actually going to move on like you suggested how many posts ago????

I have a Sightron SIII with 56mm Objective on mine. EGW 20moa base and Burris XTR high rings gives me about a 1/4" gap to the shroud. Plenty of adjustment on the comb to accomodate the height. Overall I'm very happy with the XLR, but the choices were more limited shooting a Savage.

Going with a large objective I don't see why u could cut a section of the shroud out to accommodate the little bit of clearance. I still think with the right ring set up u will be able to clear. I'm not a big fan of objectives that hang low with a bit of rail in front. Kinda like the new mdt tac 21 forerail

I would rather mill off a section of rail to accommodate the large objective then then use overly high rings/mounts.................With the MDT cut out rail you can still mount emergency back up sights if your scope goes for sh*t............That is why I asked for a cut out rail to be made........;)

This is exactly my scenario, Savage and SIII 60mm.

Personally I would rather remove shroud material than go higher rings as I would like to keep things as compact as possible, kind of contradictory going with such a scope but a little tweak here and there should work things out.

You know that with a girl like that we need better pictures right! :D Congrats on the XLR chassis. You will find that most of the users are quite happy with them and have no issues.

The scope height is a non issue as you will be able to get a good cheek rest regardless of scope size. I am running 1.6" high mounts to allow room for NV and it works. The only weakness is the movement in the folder and that is a very minor issue with it. Can still shoot sub 1/2 moa with my chassis and have never done more than bolt it in and shoot. Owned two but sold one in a moment of $$$$ weakness. Will still be looking at buying another. And yes I shoot and do have time behind other chassis (own a PGW folder) and have played with AI Ax's etc. Its a great chassis for the money!
