I've heard that there was a try to equip SVT with 6x scopes but it never went to full production. I will research on this more

There are a bunch of types out there. The current crop of Mosin PU repro sniper rifles for sale have a Ukranian/Russian made PU scope of high quality, usually the serial number on them starts with N4 or N7. Those are pretty good.

There are also a line of SVT type scopes that fit SVT 40 mounts. (similar to PU but with shape for SVT mount)

There are also some low quality scopes. Looking on ebay will show you what's out there.

Although I did have to laugh at the name of the russian company...Belarus (I think I spelled it right)...Is it the same company that made the tractor?.I remember it when they were imported into Canada...Built Like ROCK!!!

Are the scopes the same??
 
Do you have to drill and tap the receiver for one of these scopes to go on with the rail for the SKS ?

I would be interested in one if I didn't have to d + t.

LOL

Belarus is a former republic of Soviet Union now independent country with very tight relations to Russia. They still building tractors and scopes. Yes, these scopes are built like tractors :D

Yes, you have to drill and tap. I can do it for you for free if you pay both ways shipping.
 
Welcome Teapot, you should book a table or two at the Calary Easter gun show, it is the largest gun show in Canada and only a few hours down the road.
 
will you have any of the POSP weaver mounts? if so do they allow room for loading a SKS with stripper's?

Since the scope pictured is not a POSP but PK-04 red dot, I assume that you are asking about an adapter mount from side rail to weaver rail. We will bring the mounts in Feb-March. We will also bring red dot scopes. PK-04 allows for loading with clips, as well as POSP with lense diameter 24 mm (e.g. POSP4x24M; POSP6x24)
