I currently use a 511 duffel bag (about 1’x1’x3’ size) to carry all my range gear which includes various shooting bags, staple gun, bug dope, tripod, chrony, tape measure, tools, target stickers, you get the idea. I already carry a small pack with the essentials.

I find things easy get lost easily in a duffle bag and it’s hard to keep things organized. I also don’t like how some more delicate things don’t survive the trip.

Does anyone use a tool box or something similar when they go to the range? If so, any suggestions? I just need something to carry my stuff from my gun room to the SUV to the firing line.

Separate things and return to the same pouch/pocket... I avoid single large bags cause, my stuff dissappears into the depths too.

Unless, I am prepping for F class in which, I will use a duffle bag but the stuff needed is big, long and easy to see.

I use a 5.11 range bag I bought at Cablas pretty cheap and an eberlestock bag I bought from DS Tactical. The eberlestock I use at matches and carries my essentials the range bag carries things like spare ear pro, steppers, patches, chronograph, and tools

Have it. Use it for matches and for practice. Best pack I've found for PRS. Never have to dig in it. Got sick of digging through the main pocked in my Rush 72.
