PRS Match CDTSA Milo Range

Agreed. Skill is requisite. Which is one more reason to run with the PRS divisions: open, tactical (.308 and .223) and production. Production would be good as new shooters, or shooters on a budget, don't have to commit to annual barrel replacement from shooting barrel burning calibers and expensive setups.

Great match! Thanks!

Open and Tactical are the same shooter skill level.

Production Division is not shot with Open and Tactical. They are stand alone matches that have a lower round count and slightly different rules. Production division doesn't limit caliber, so it isn't saving you anything on barrels unless you're buying a 223 or 308.

Big thanks to Ryan, Quinn and Greg for another great match. Had a ton of fun despite not exactly having my dope figured out...

I think you weren't the only one.

For the person asking, no more PRS matches for this year.

There is a chance I might entertain a fall fun shoot for prone "medium distance" for members only (or guests with valid guest passes and proper supervision). Basically just an organized day at the range where we go through challenges and maybe coach some new shooters to medium range shooting. Likely set-up some wind flags to get an idea of calling wind, etc. Its just a thought at this point. Looking for more reasons to make the 1.5 hour commute out there.

I'd love to see you guys organize a tactical rimfire match!

I think that would be great, but I'm not kitted out for that. My .22 is single feed, peep sites. Weighs a ton though =) Got that figured out.

I've always wanted a nice(ish) .22LR bolt action repeater. Guess you would need a bolt and semi class.

A huge thanks to Ryan, Quinn, Greg and anyone else who had a hand in putting this event on. It's not easy guys and burns up a lot of time that could be spent doing other things. All of us from WRAS had a great time shooting this matcht (even though this weekend seemed to be amateur hour for some of us....well me). I hope those who received the steel plates enjoy them.

Warning: shameless Self promotion about to be inserted....

If you guys enjoy shooting these style of matches, WRAS will be holding a PRS style match at the Edson range on September 17. You can register for the match starting August 14, email us at wrassignup@gmail.com or visit the web page at wrasalberta.com

Again, many thanks for those that put it on

Adam
VP WRAS

Hopefully some of those that made it out to Milo will be up in Edson. The group of people we had out on Saturday was great.

With that said - anyone know where I can confirm my dope out to about 800M-900M? I have a secret as a LR shooter, I have never really shot past 650M or so (I know, it is all lies!).

APRA full bore does 900.
Think you need an invite from a member though.

Make friends with Hutterites (No idea how to spell that)
They have LOOOOOOOOTSSSSSSSS of land around cowtown.

I'm in for the tactical rimfire match. Also, maybe just setup a mini PRS weekday league? I thought about the same thing for three gun, but I am so busy between work and school that it would be a lot for me to carry

Hahaha.

That's awesome. When somebody said they looked like VHS tapes I burst out laughing.

Could you even print out a whole backing that makes it look exactly like a VHS tape with label? Do both sides!

Nice way to label magazines!
I said that they looked like VHS tapes...still stand by that. LOL
Thanks again for the great match Ryan, and fellow Milo-ites! You really know how to put the pressure on, and we look forward to seeing you at the next WRAS PRS match.
