I don’t need schooling on optics. The fact still remains, in the tests they were ranked the best. Differences on both were covered in the test and no one disputes the fov differences. Just you!! I don’t need convincing, I own three Kahles scopes. The fov is huge and I like the parallax on top. I haven’t had to use a warranty so can’t comment there. Great that TT is so accommodating!!

Guess I shouldn't have quoted your post. Was mainly aimed at the claim of TT being superior claim beforehand.
Tried to make the point that the Kahles is one of the best scopes out there, and for some disciplines the best due to the fov increase over the competition.

Brightness, contrast and field of vision are a priority for fast target acquisition. European glass has been my go to. Schmidt and Bender PMII series and Kahles

Thanks for the discussion guys. As Longstud and others have commented, right now, Kahles K540i and TT735 are 2 of THE best riflescopes money can buy. I don't sell ZCO but they too are great scopes. In the end, you buy what you can afford and the one that ticks off your preferences.

I was an S&B fanboy 20 years ago, but unfortunately they have done very little in developing new scopes from the ground up for many many years. Point in case IS their newer 6-36x56. They at long last removed the illumination knob from the back of the rear tube, but instead of designing it from scratch, they literally "cut and pasted" that same old knob onto the left side parallax knob.... They really could have designed it from the ground up, instead of using the same old "dated" knob and just moving it. I do like their glass, and some reticles need updating on some models.

As for warranty - I do agree TT is AMAZING to deal with and its nice that they're in Canada - and they emply some of THE nicest people in the industry. BUT, Kahles warranty is ALSO pretty amazing. When you purchase from me, I pay the shipping cost baco to Kahles (Swarovski) in Rhode Island, and they pay return shipping anyway.

The beauty of Swaro/Kahles warranty, is that they now have metal 3D printers that can print ANY part for ANY product they have ever made - obsolete or not, as they have all the "blueprints" of everything they ever manufactired. So in essence, they can now repair any scope, no matter the age.

And as Longstud commented, their scopes are normally pretty bulletproof. They don't see lots of warranty issues. But then, neither does TT normally - unless you drop scopes a lot. LOL

Anyway, thanks for all the inputs - always nice to see differing opinions and discussion. Keeps the industry interesting.

Not so sure about that. They offer ZERO service/warranty/repair of the Kahles zf 69, 84, 95 scopes. Same situation with the Swarovski zfm scopes.

You are referencing scopes that were introduced as long as 57 YEARS ago (ZF69).... When and where did you purchase those scopes? And when did you contact Swaro/Kahles for service that they REFUSED to help you? They only got the new machines in the last couple of months that could print metal. Your experience with Swaro/Kahles warranty is NOT what I have experienced, and my customers have had superb service from them too. I would hazard a guess that NO other brand would be able to fix a 57+ year old scope today. The ZFM was introduced in 1969 as well, as part of a military package for the Austrian army....

Anyway, not going to argue with you - Swaro/Kahles have superb customer service - and I will stand by that. You're very welcome to differ.
