PRS Tripod Recommendations

I agree with kt, only 1 or 2 stages in a 2-day match would a tripod be a necessity, or even a significant advantage, compared to a conventional bag approach.

I think it would be more useful for field events like the Rifleman Team Challenge then regular PRS matches.
 
For PRS style matches you rarely see shooters use a tripod for a rear rest.

The exception is where you have a very rickety barricade or it is windy enough to shake the barricade, in this case I’ll run a tripod in back, even if it slows me down and i time out I’ll take the hits.

The rtc matches you need a tripod as a primary rifle support. The SH cup is at least 50% off a tripod.
