My PS90 arrived from Questar yesterday. I gotta say, straight out of the box and into my shoulder it felt rather weird. It is held differently than any rifle I have ever fired. It took a few minutes to get my proper hold and eye relief due to the unconventional design.
It is fairly solid for a mostly plastic gun. The finish and workmanship were fairly good for a mass produced gun. The trigger pull is about half that of my AR but is very smooth. The safety is located under the trigger in the form of a dial. It is easily manipulated with your trigger finger. The action is worked easily with the ambidextrous charging handles on either side of the gun. I was kinda disappointed it didn't have a bolt hold open device on it but it seemed to be made more for simplicity than anything else. I'm sure I'll be able to live without the hold open device.
It comes apart easily into four sub assemblies. It's easy to clean and requires only a small bit of oil to get the action lubricated for firing. At first I just slathered oil on it but it ended up leaking out and making a mess. I wiped it down a second time and just left it lightly lubed.
Once I got over the awkward grip and head position I needed to get it into the shoulder I found it quite comfortable. The weight is distributed very well as it is taken up close to your body and causes no strain in your arms to hold it up to aim for long periods.
I chose the Eotech XPS2-2 sight for it as I have always wanted one. It is quite a nice sight and I am looking forward to using it.
I was able to acquire 50 rounds of FN manufactured 5.7 X 28mm ammo. I was struck by how small these pistol rounds actually are. I compared them to some Remington .223 rounds and you can really see the size difference in the casings.

I won't be able to get a chance to fire it until next week. My range is currently undergoing renovations and will be closed until 2 November. I can't wait to get it out there and get it zeroed. By then I should have another 500 rounds here to play with.
