PS90 arrived yesterday!

RDA says...You ROCK!

ONeal4.jpg

For when you absolutely, positively have to kill every goa'uld in the room.:D:cool:

I have shot about 200 rounds through a PS90 when I in Las Vegas recently, and I found the firearm a delight to shoot...Fully ambidextrous, spent casings eject down and forward, and fits like a glove....They load their mags to 25 rounds....:D
I wouldn`t mind having one, but they are just so damn expensive.....

Ive tried the P90 at "the gun store" in LV. delight indeed. My only problem with this rifle is the rarity of the ammo.
Its hard to find even in the state! They show up here from time to time in gunshows but you cant rely on that! Dont know if its true but I heard only FN makes those.

First of all this is a SPORTING rifle not an assault weapon!

A weapon is something you use to cause arm to someone.

A sporting rifle is something you shoot targets with. For fun.

We should ban people who use the word "ban" in this forum!
That being said, I hope you were just being sarcastic. ;)

lol! Obv I was being sarcastic. Sorry... you just really start to get into the politics of this stuff after a while. And yes, my sentence didn't make a whole lot of sense because i put in "how" instead of "high"... edited.

I ordered mine 9 days 37 minutes ago. 6-8 weeks is too long.
Don't get me wrong though; Questar is amazing.
Can somebody please tell me where I can get ammo for it though. It's a challenging ordeal

Also a BRRC member. Hopefully I'll be at the range when you fire it off the first time. That ought to draw some attention!
Who stocks the 5.7 ammo, and what does a brick go for?

+1 for BRRC! I myself live in Burlington, hopefully one day I will catch you Cobalt!

Thanks,
- Koshy

How the hell can this thing pass through the RCMP "net of doomed fun" when the Type 97 is still under review for classification? What the bloody hell is the difference, really?!

Grrrr....

The difference with the T97 and the ps90?

T97 was made for military (select fire) use.

If you go on FNHUSA.COM , thePs90 is listed as a commercial rifle (NOT military) with this description "the easy-to-shoot PS90 represents a flexible, compact bullpup carbine design thats ideal for personal security and SPORTING use."

Knowledge of the RCMP being limited to the info they can find on the web, i personnally think that's what made the difference. Just my opinion.

The T97 is the Civilian export model chambered in 5.56x45. The Chinese military model is the QBZ-97 which fires the 5.8x42 round. The T07 isn't made for select fire. The 97 was specifically created for export in a common round which isn't the one the Chinese military uses.

AHhh! now it makes sense!!

Are you telling me RCMP is holding T97 for no good reason?? And to think we pay those guys with our taxes!

I didnt know about T97/QBZ97, sorry! So T97 is really a civilian model (not converted semi).

The PS90 also has a military model...but is clearly defined has Military. Maybe Norinco should define the T97 better like FNH did so our friends from RCMP would understand the difference.;)
