PS90-Stripped! *Warning-Pic Heavy*

If the barrel on this firearm was replaced with longer one to be non-restricted, how would it be more superior or desirable than ...let's say Tavor?

Sorry, but I did not quite understand your response. But perhaps my question was not clear as well. There was another thread were people were trying to figure out how to make their PS90 unrestricted. Apparently it is possible to replace it with a longer barrel and some members here have done it. It seems to me that when it is done, the total length of this firearm would approximate Tavor, which is already non restricted. It was my understanding that the whole appeal of PS90 was the compactness of this rifle. So if two rifles mentioned above were similar in length and given that .223 is more common caliber and Tavor is cheaper than PS90, what would be the reason to buy PS90 over Tavor? That was my question. Sorry for the lengthy explanation.

I was kind of expecting this response. But aside from the "cool" factor, are there any valid reasons why somebody would pick one versus another?

Shogun, while the OAL and bottom ejection are great, the availability of ammo is much worse and you can't get 10 round mags for the PS90 (something I forgot to mention in the previous post).

So, while the PS90 is very much a cool toy, I strongly doubt that it will ever be as popular as the Tavor in Canada.

:p Okay, then money and a restricted for target practice haha?

Or small game, if that's your thing.

I'm sure it could take out a coyote pretty reliably... If you're drowning in money!

Although, I've read that 5.7x28 brass is fairly easy to reload.

IMO, it looks weird with a long barrel. If I did purchase one (big if, there), it would probably be the SBR version.
