Hi Smellie

What die set up where u using for the 312?

Right now I am neck sizing for the 54r using a lee loader, there does not seem to be a collet die made for that size. The lee loader I think is neck sizing for 311, but I am putting in the 312 projectile which I understand may be causing neck runout?

You are only 1 thou out, friend; some bullets have that much tolerance.

Best bet is to just bevel the inside of the case-mouth with your little taper-reamer tool, then let the bullet bully its way in.

Worked for us, anyway.

Thanks it does help I think I must be on the right track if that's the same method you guys used
