Hi I picked up an original PU .The tip of the pointer is not in the center of the gap ,its off to one side.Is this an issue ?Should I have it fixed? Is there anyone out there that works on these PU scopes.Im also looking for a Hungarian PU scope.I picked up a nice Hungarian rifle thats missing its scope.Dave

Likely the reticle is not zerod to the centre of the scope. I had this issue with my old German Pecar three post scope. Turn the windage knob until it's centre of the scope. When you zero it on a rifle you may need to shim the scope to get it to zero properly.

I've dissasemble 2 PU scope for cleaning and repair.
It's not that hard. I've made a small tuto on gunboard, I'll try to post a link.
The reticle post are tiny, really tiny like half a hair thin. Il can be quite tricks to move them at the right place. Maybe under a big magnifying glass.
You need to make mesurements of how deep are the lenses first before to unscrew them.
They are as basic scope as it can be.
