Pull unknown reloads

This is not fun. I have acquired like 400 or more reloaded rifle rounds. I guess I should save the brass but what a pain.

Why not pull bullets, recharge with your powder of choice, reseat bullet and shoot them. Or just shoot them.

Another thing, how to remove live primers? Seems like too much trouble.

Weigh them all?
If they are dang near awn the munhies, I'd pull a few
bullets and weigh the powder charges.
Maybe he was a pro?

collet bullet puller. works way better than the inertia pullers.

Hammer pullers are for amateurs. Buy a collet die and appropriate collets. You can pull that 400 in no time.

Live primers can be pushed out without a problem with a resizing die or a universal depriming die. But why not just use the free primer that is already in the case?

Different ammo. At least 100, 22-250. Some 8mm, lots of random stuff. I use a hammer puller, but I don't pull many bullets ever........till now haha. I'm planning on shooting the shotgun reloads. 12 gauge, 20, 28,410. I can not count high enough for these. It's ridiculous.

I'm picky, don't know what kind is in there. Plus I don't have a 22-250, or 8mm, and whatever the other ones are. I thought at least I could sell off or trade some brass.

Then yeah, sell the brass as primed. No need to deprime. And sell the projectiles too unless you have a use for them. A word of caution though, those 22-250 are going to be a btich to pull with a hammer. The light bullets take an ungodly amount of smacking to get out. I'd find a friend with a puller and go for a visit.

If you have a press, push the round up through an empty die hole and grab the bullet with a side cutter. The bullet will pull easily out on the down stroke.

Sell the brass as primed brass.

Make sure to double check case length/neck size. Some more common round may be fire formed into more exotic cartridges or necked up/down. The safest course would, unfortunately, be to simply dispose of them if you cannot verify that they are what they appear. You could try measuring/running some through your sizing die to at least give you some idea if he was wildcatting or forming the brass.

Sell it as is just state it is reloads and someone will buy it. If I was in toon town I would buy it for brass & bullets.

No way would I fire somebody else's reloads. Too many faux pas' have come to light on this forum where experienced reloaders have inadvertently filled a rifle case with pistol powder. Guaranteed kaboom.

Without accurate info, it's shetchy to shoot I would think. Better to rip them apart.
