Pump action 12guage drilling?

I am looking for suggestions on a pump action drilling. I am not sure if this is what this called exactly, but the idea is a 12 guage pump combined with a single shot hunting round like .308 or .30-06

There is one out there that is .233 and 12guage pump called the crossfire. It is known to have some issues and is hard to find in Canada. It was built for tactical crowd and .223 is not so good for hunting.

Does anyone know of any others like this and where to potentially find one? Does anyone have one they like and would reccomend?
 
At the gun show today, asking peoploe about drillings and they look at me with a hairy eyeball and ask "you mean a combo gun?"

Am I the olnly person who calls these drillings?

If memory serves, the term is a derivative (off a German word....can't remember exactly which) - Drilling signifies a combination of 3 bbl'd hunting firearm that could be had in various configs of CF/Shotgun, RF/Shotgun etc etc.

The term combination gun is generally indicative of just a 2 bbl'd firearm i.e. shotgun/rifle (CF or RF) etc.

Sounds about right,

If I recall correctly, Drilling is from a german root word for three and a Verling (sp?) is a 4 barreled gun.

I think you're getting raised eyebrows because when I hear drilling I think of a break action firearm, not a pump like the crossfire.
 
"...Am I the only..." Nope.
Don't think the Crossfire is still being made. No mention of them after about 2002ish. I'm guessing though. There are a couple on the U.S. auction sites. Big bucks. One guy wants 3 grand US.
