What if I want a 270 to do what a 7mm mag will do at 500 yards? 
Actually the Browning pump rifle was offered in 7mmremmag.It didn't sell well,so it was discontinued.

Then you'll have a very scared, but very safe target without any perforations.

Truth be told its not me thats lookin for the gun, I am not a fan of pump guns, I prefr semi's and lever's. My shooting is all within 200 yards.
My cousin however likes pump guns. I told him I didn't think anyone made a pump magnum but he thought they did. Actually I thought the only pump centerfire was the rem 7600 and I was pretty sure that one only came in 270 and 30-06. Maybe 243 but I haven't looked in a while.

Remington.com has a special run with a 280 offered in the 7600 pump. Close as I could come to 7mm mag. How to get it ordered and shipped to Canada is another problem.
