Anyone know of any gun makers that make a 12 gauge shotgun that throws the shell down (bottom ejection) instead of sideways? I know Rem Makes the CTi but I want a pump.

Slap a rail and a set of ghostrings on this thing and it would be awesome. I've always been impressed with the smoothness of the BPS action, but have never been too keen on the styling... until this one. Interesting.

Im not looking to go tactical its going to be used for my waterfowl gun. Nothing worse than having your buddies yelling at you because your shells are hitting them in the face when we are in the goose pit.

Allthough I have no expirience with bottom eject shotguns I think they are neat and I have heard the action stays much cleaner without the ejection port being so exposed on the side of the reciever.

Yes John Moses Browning invented /patented the downward ejecting shotgun design.
But Remington picked it up first (model 17?)and Ithaca waited until the patent ran out and in 1937, put thier design on the market.
They wanted to start in 1933, but thier lawyers advised otherwise, due to the patent stilll in effect.

I own a Browning BPS Upland and an Ithaca M87. Both are fine shotguns. But of the two I would have to choose the Browning BPS, more configurations available, cheaper on the wallet and cycles better with twin action bars.
