hey guys and gals! As the title says, I'm curious if any such shotguns exist for sale in canada or are they all prohibited? I am only aware of two such firearms that fit this description and both are prohibited because someone felt they aren't suitable for civilian use. The two I know of are the franchi spas 12 and the benelli m3. So that said, are there any shotguns available for sale in canada that function both as a pump action and semi auto?

There is a semi automatic single shot pump action for sale on the EE. A rather rare factory made Remington 870 Competition - for trap shooting.

Honestly why are these firearms prohibited? I know a lot of "innocent" firearms are prohibited but these seriously have to take the icing off the cake. Spas12 definitely prohibited due to movies/games but why the others?

U cant rationalize Canadas gun laws. For the sake of ur blood pressure levels dont even try.

The Turkish made TriStar Tec-12 is dual action, as is the Dickinson Ermox Hybrid shotgun, although I don't know if they're available in Canada?

Knowing how retarded Canadian gun laws are they probably couldn’t figure out the mag tube limits of a shotgun that is operated as a semi auto and a pump, that’s asking too much of the average law maker it seems...

There was a Beretta that was a clone of the M3 - when Beretta owned Benelli, it is not named. There are (as far as I remember) single digits of them in Canada.

Yes, the Beretta M3P. It looked similar to the Benelli M3 including the top folding stock and was magazine fed. Easily convertible to pump/semi by a collar, used inertia in semi mode. Bought one off the EE about 10+ years ago and sold it back to the original owner after a year or so, was a rare and very cool gun.
