Pump advice .

If the intent is to use that shotgun for Upland hunting only then I would echo what the others have stated - Nova or BPS (or the BPS Upland Special), either in 20ga.

I have never owned a BPS but have handled a few over the past months particularly the Upland Spl in 20ga.....IMO, the model, despite the weight in terms of gauge has some great features (ex: the short bbl, tang safety, ease of unloading rounds from the mag) that are quite suitable for working Grouse/Woodcock covers.

On second thoughts, another great option might be the 870 WM, again, in 20ga. I had a 28ga that I shouldn't have sold. :) I found that the Nova 20ga at around 6.5lbs is a great shotgun with good balance and could adequately cover waterfowl needs to a great extent.

Thanks for all the imput. I decided to go with the Nova. It was the right deal for me it shoots 2 3/4 - 3.5 shells and will withstand the blind as well as the boat without taking too much of a beating...Now if it would just get here so I can take it out and run some shells through it
