That doesnt matter in, at least in ontario. Only semis do (notice how Enfields and Win 94s hold mroe then 5...).
EDIT - The above applies to centrefire rifles. Shotguns are federally regulated to 2+1 while hunting

Oops, for some reason I thought he was referring to rifles. Having Hunting and Sporting shotguns so close to hunting and sporting arms got me.

Not hunting.....fill er up as much as you want!!!
In Ontario, ALL shotgun hunting whether feathered or furred requires a shotgun magazine to be plugged to two rounds.
Every clay target range I've been to has rules limiting a gun to no more than two rounds when shooting.
So if you aren't hunting or clay shooting then what's left for your 30 round drum mag is informal target shooting, 3-gun, zombies and punkin' killing. Further questions on these fascinating subjects might be better raised in the Black and Green Shotgun forum.
Shotguns used for hunting Migratory Game birds require the magazine be plugged to hold no more than 2 shot shells in the magazine.
