Pump Shotgun Magazine Limit?

Man there's a lot of lack of reading comprehension skills in this thread.

He is aware of the current laws. He is wondering if the proposed magazine limit regulations will affect all firearms or only semi-auto firearms. The answer to which is "Who TF knows". The Liberals don't even know. They make up nonsensical regulations on a whim, consequences and repercussions be damned. Like a couple have said, it's a complete waste of time trying to determine what the Liberals will do based on logic, because they don't operate based on logic.

5 for semi
Unlimited for pumps
3 for hunting in all of them, must have a plug in mag

Varies by province, for example in bc if you hunt with a shotgun and use any type of shot it’s 2 in the tube and 1 in the chamber. If you’re shooting single projectiles (slugs) there’s no limit restrictions on how many you can fit in the magazine if is a pump or manual action, semi autos are still governed by the 5 of whatever the largest shell it’s chambered for.

So what happens when you jam a whole bunch of mini mags in your tube fead shotgun?

Maybe something is afoot?? I thought the 2 round thing was a Federal requirement for hunting migratory birds - not a provincial requirement - but when I tried to look that up on line, it is as if most of the regulations have been "amended" as of July 30 this year, and all I get are "blank" to look at - as if the "amendment" deleted the previous regulation??

So, say, 20 years ago in Saskatchewan, needed a "plug" in your pump action magazine, if you were out in a field in a goose pit surrounded by goose decoys - "hunting" migratory birds - so that you could not put more than two rounds in your magazine. But later that winter, tromping around same field for a crack at coyote - I did not think there was any limit how many rounds in that same pump gun magazine ...

Thinking more - must have been more than 20 years ago - we were using #2 lead shot for geese - often 3" shells. I seem to recall BB 3" for coyotes ...

Apparently you need a plug for upland game in Sask now as well, something I just figured out last year (opps)
