Punisher remake 1911 compensators

Those were King's Gunworks comps, one of the few .45 comps left on the market. They're still available, but they're not cheap. And you won't find them at Brownells.

I was referring to the complete kit that Kings sells. Includes a barrel, link, bushing, entended guide rod and the comp itself. I've never seen that for $60, unless its some auction on Gunbroker.

Edit: I did find the Kings bushing comp for about that price, but that's not the same animal.

would this make the front sight on my 1911 obsolete? better yet i will take a pic of my 1911 and show you what i mean.

Depends on what you want to do, I suppose. The "correct" way, back before most raceguns had optics, seems to have been to not use a slide-mounted front sight and use the one on the comp. However, if you want to replicate the film's pistols you'd want to leave the stock sight in place and mill off the one on the comp. That's what I did with mine.
