Purchase of the month threads no more?

I liked them myself. Granted you saw a lot of 91/30s and SKS's but there was often something interesting to see.
 
I enjoyed them too. I think unfortunately a lot of people slowed down on their new purchases when the Canadian dollar dropped.

I have one on the way (which was supposed to be here today, I guess hopefully tomorrow). But that being said it is my first purchase in over 6 months (and it isn't even that pricy a purchase) but there is a priority to things, and firearms are at the bottom of the list (everything else paid off before the toys get bought).
 
I was wondering and waiting for these to come back too!
I thought maybe the CGN mods asked these to stop (silly me).
Can't wait to see the tradition and the threads back!

Honestly, if people don't alter them with aftermarket plastic crap, a nice non-refurb SKS or a clean 91/30 is A-OK with me. Hell, I collect certain years of 91/30's and appreciate them more than many other milsurps. YMMV.

The purchase of the month thread disappeared when they started to put all those stickies on the top.

You couldn't find the purchase of the month threads anymore so they vanished.
