Purchased a Beretta 90-Two , So i'm interested in other peoples experiences whom also have this firearm and welcome their comments ... It is also My first firearm ... Haven't gotten my papers to get it the the range yet ...

My first is also a 90-Two, I did the Black Badge course with it and really like it.

The cons for me have been finding holster for it. You will have to remove the under guard for any of the holsters that I did find.

Arent you supposed to ask that before you buy the gun. LOL

I am not a fan but beretta makes good firearms, I prefer the original 92.

I am thinking my next handgun will be the 92FS. I have a buddy who loves his 92

I ve got a 90-two in 9mm. Its a little picky with what ammo it likes but its a tack driver with winchester white box 115 gr. After about 500 rds through it I ve yet to have a failure to feed or eject.

Bought one used from the EE and love it. I have decided that it's one of my keeper guns.

Haha hey jetrefueller, glad ur liking the 90-two!

patjohnw- did you get the 90-two in .40 or 9mm? My 90-two in .40 was my first handgun. The recoil wasnt too bad because of the weight, although a bit snappier than the 9mm version.

I really like mine. It is fun to shoot. I have a couple Beretta pistols. They are a great working guns. Never had a problem with them ever. You will like it.

CONGRATS for your new Beretta, 92 is a good gun, IMO and long experience with Beretta pistols I can say that 90-two is one of the problem free guns !
BTW 800 rounds in one day is not much at all if you want to have a good training with yr pistol
my average 9mm per range visit is 500+ and at least 300 with 45ACP
I have more pistols in 9mm then 45, but I try to keep them "warm" and accurate on target...

500 in 9mm per range visit? how often do you go, in that case? either you go through inordinate amounts of ammo (and money), or you go once a month or so.

i go every sunday, and tend to go through around 150-200 rounds each time. i know there's some guys who show up every sunday too and probably go through 300 with the extra drills they do, but i can't picture 800+ in a day... not to say BS or anything, mind you. just wondering how often you go and burn through 800.

Hey BP7 I never said I shot only one pistol 500 rnds per range visit, have an average of 150-200 rnds/gun
I use range as often I can, but latelly time is not so flexible as much as I want and I can say a 3-4 times/month is the true aproximate ....still I consider it's not enough to kill the "target virus" in my veins....LOL
