Purchased a Beretta 90-Two

still, one gun or several, 500+ is a fair bit if you do it weekly. cool! must be a long day or rapid drills? i usually stay 9a-1p

I am loving my new to me Beretta 90 Two. She is in .40S&W and is simply a beaut. I've never owned a Beretta pistol before although I own the CX4 in .40S&W as well. I'm a BIG fan that the 96 mags fit my carbine with the adapter and those 96 mags also fit my 90 Two!

Otherwise I've owned a Taurus PT92 (Beretta 92 copy) and can say I prefer the frame mounted safeties of the Taurus but having the decocker is a nice feature with the Beretta.

Quality wise I have to say I'm very impressed with the 90 Two although the frame/accessory rail seems "softer" than my Sig 226R.. almost like if I really wacked it hard I could warp it or bugger up the rail somehow. Maybe it's just because that little plastic guard for it is giving me some suggestive psychology that it's "sensitive".

Regardless, I'm a very big fan of this pistol and I'll be definitely doing some two gun Carbine/Pistol shoots with the 90 Two and the CX4.

Does anyone have any experience with the thin grip for these honeys? Is the thin grip the same part number for the 90 Two 9mm and 90 Two .40S&W?

I don't find this pistol as "thick" as my Taurus PT92 was but I'd still like to thin it out any bit I can. It's still a full-size combat pistol and I prefer that slightly thinner grip.

Tim.

My Beretta is in 9 mm.
She is my first handgun , therefore first love .
I was not aware that Beretta was coming out with 40 cals.

But since bullets cost money , and i don't reload ...
I don't regret the 9mm.
In time i may also pickup a 40 cal in 90 TWO. ( keep me in mind )
To temper that I just purchased a RUGER p994,stainless, a tank of a handgun in 40.

I think the rail cover is cosmetic and make her snag free ...
I don't had a thin grip , I don't know whom carries them, but would try one if i could .

I short , i love her , clean her for at least an hour and half after firing it , and lube her up like i'm never going to fire it again when I put it away , have to wiper her down before firing .

The only thing I find odd about her is , normally the Mags go in just like a Glock , sleek and click and other times i'm kinda putting it in a giving it a love tap to seat the mag cant figure out why , i think it is how i'm loading the rounds ...

I had 2 x 90-two's, a 9mm and the .40 version and loved them both. If u have small'ish hands the thin grip is perfect. It gives the same grip as the vertec version of the beretta 92.

I had medium size hands and the thin grip fit my hand perfectly.

Fyi: the thin grip is the same for both 9mm and .40

Hope u enjoy your beretta, "and don't sell it like I did lol"

If u don't have a holster yet I would sugest bladetech.
