Purchased the auto throw for my FX120 w/auto trickler

Sometimes my thrower doesn't want to throw and seems to get stuck and make an awful grinding noise. I have a feeling it is trying to cut a kernel.

Do you guys' ever do that?
 
I have only loaded 50 since autothrow got here, because winter.
I am using varget, and was asking myself this very question lately.
Since kernels are cylinder shaped, was wondering what is a kernel was right on the edge...
 
I found the autothrow jams up if you try to adjust it with the lever down or do not have the tension tight enough.

Just got in, once again impressed with Adams work.
Incredibly easy to set up and install.
Only minor issue which may resolve itself over time, the supplied plastic cups are filled with a static charge and powder clings to it.

Took picture while it was trickling up to 43.5gr by the way, i do not aim for obsolete load numbers as pictured

Fack, good thing i don't remember paying that! That setup does hurt the wallet, but like mentioned, it feels like it's worth it.

400$US+shipping for trickler and throw (product in canada but he seems to like charging USD)
640$+tx+shipping for scale

Probably closer to 1300$ CAD, go on autotrickler.com and purchase scale where he says to purchase it, seems to be the least expensive place.
 
I think you are right Marty - I bought some of the stuff back when the dollar was not so strong (and separately) so that makes it a bit more.

Still at least $1,200 by the time you are done.

I am going to give them a call and complain.

I chatted extensively with the reps before ordering my scale and from what I understand they sell/ship thousands of them to the U.S.

That being said if they continue going in the direction of only offering rebates to our Americans brothers and sisters they will not see another dollar from me and I will go out my way to recommend other companies who sell the same product.

I feel the same here, even though our market is minimal compared to theirs, it is very unpatriotic to give extra support to other countries before their own.
Going back i'd still get same setup, but would source the scale elsewhere if they had that sort of deal going on.
 
Its not Cambridges fault its the Manufacturer A&D you have to complain to as it is a Manufacturers rebate not a rebate from Cambridge Environmental .
