Purchased W German Sig Sauer P226

After much research I decided for my first restricted purchase to get a W German P226. It was lucky to find one in such good condition. The rails had no ware, just a few imperfections on the grips and slide.

That's a fine choice for a Sig , those West German ones sure feel nice , I like them better than the newer Sigs. Happy shooting!!

Debate goes on new Sig vs W German. A piece of history from the cold war, W Germany no longer exists. It does feel nice and dissasembly was a breeze.

When I put my older Sigs beside my newer ones, there is no debate. They look better, feel better made and shoot better.

You can still go new. But w germans are getting rarer and rarer.

Great choice, I miss my West German Sig.
