would you buy one thats "slightly used" in box for 500$?

is it worth it?
better yet would there be any issues buying a ex police one

i know that glocks are known for there reliability so would it being ex police mean its been abused or well taken care of?

also whats the major difference between the 22 and 19 models?

I didn't think cops in Kanada sold or approved of selling ex-police guns to the public anymore. Are you sure it's ex-police issue? It's been many years(decades) since I've heard of that happening. (Please correct me if I'm wrong).

They'd rather spend $$ having them chopped up then recovering taxpayers' dollars by selling them off as surplus to licensed and screened gunowners. I guess they(police) don't trust the firearms system either:)

Police Ordnance?

I believe that they do have a LEO price for officers to make personal purchases, 1 per year. I believe in the low sixes but don't quote me 100%.
Even if an officer doesn't shoot on their own you are still looking at 500rds minimum per year of use. It will have been armoured every year. Is is worth it for few 100's? I'd rather find a safe queen that no one had used or pay a bit more and by new.

police ordnance carries a whole bunch of 2nd and 3rd gen glock 22's all ex police that they got before the rcmp ban on police agencies reselling their firearms to the general public. I believe that they are all out of glock 21's and 17's. I am not sure, but the us law enforcement market sells off their firearms to canada too

Police guns are a hit and miss, for example, you might get a glock 22 that was carried and requalified only once a year by a senior officer wihout any range time or you will get a glock that was carried by a opc instructor who shot 500 rounds a day with it for 3 months

Dont the police issue guns have the heavier trigger as well?

The ones i have seen were all 2 nd gen models anyways.

Pay 50 dollars more and get one off the EE.

Or pay 100 dollars more and get one brand new!

Defenitely not worth the savings if you ask me!
