Purchasing Pilla Shooting Glasses My Experience and Information

Take it from someone who has experienced amputation that could have been prevented with better equipment/tool. That few dollars you saved becomes insignificant and there isn't an amount that is more than you would pay to reverse that descision.

Which is why I went with better quality and impact resistant glasses made for the sport unlike the $4 Amazon skeet, trap and sporting clays champion endorsed models.

Sorry to hear about your injury/accident.

To be fair, I have also seen people who have never shot trap on a real trap field before whoop my ass.
They give me a puzzled look and say something along the lines of "I thought you did this every week?"

I've seen so many shooters not have fun it's sad , I think it would do a world of good for everyone to shoot informally in a field.
Just hang out, shoot the #### and shoot a few clays.
A place where no one cares if you missed, or if you have $800 glasses

If you have never shot on an actual skeet/trap/sporting clays field, where have you seen so many shooters not having fun? How do you know who cares what gear you use, or what scores you shoot?
Personally, I would get bored in short order, shooting those same slow portable thrower targets, over and over again, with no real challenge.

Your reading someone else's post, I've never posted that I haven't shot at an actual club.

I don't care what you'd be bored with.

While I don't disagree with what your saying I will say that I do a fair bit of coaching new shooters and I seldom see any people not having fun. It does happen but usually it's because the gun doesn't fit and they are getting hurt, that can happen at a field shoot as well. And at the clubs I shoot at, no one will notice your $800 dollar glasses.

I can fully understand folks not having fun if you are present at the shoot. That would be a downer for sure.

It is also very apparent you have zero experience with organized shooting and organized events yet you feel compelled to add nothing of substance as if you do?

I am going by what you posted.

No idea, we shoot informally in the side field with a thrower on the ATV.
½ the time glasses aren't even worn

And by the way, this is the skeet/trap/sporting clays forum, not the back 40 informal clay tossing forum

Gotta say... natural ability is huge in winning anything whether it be shooting trap/skeet/sporting clays or playing golf, hockey, curling or any other sport you would care to name!
Some people have it, some people have it a little bit and some people don't have it at all, the rest of us mere mortals just do the best we can!
