Morning good folks. Just wondering where to purchase recoil springs? I have a S&W model 41, a Beretta 92A1, and a Walther PPQ M2 Navy. Thinking it would be a good idea to have an extra on hand. Not sure who will deliver, in Canada? There are times, where I am jealous of Americans. Appreciate any help. Assuming they should be replaced periodically, regardless

I can't recommend Wolff Springs in the USA high enough. They did ship to Canada. Last year or two, I updated half of my M14 5/20 Round Mag Springs with their heavier duty (5-10% stronger) Springs, and there was great interest and response to the original springs I posted for sale here on the EE. These new, stronger Springs worked fantastic! 6 months after my first purchase, I wanted to upgrade the balance of my Magazines, but I was then told by Wolff Springs that they were no longer shipping to Canada because they had to service their USA customers first. Not sure if this policy is still in force, but if you can get your Springs from Wolff, I highly recommend them. Just send them an Email.

Wolff is my suggestion. Mailed simple as pie right to your door.

They have a flat shipping and handling fee. But it sounds like you need enough springs to make it worth while. Or maybe hook up with a shooting buddy to max out the order to the $200 ITAR limit and spread out the S&H over more springs.

So.. its ok to bring springs into canada? Whats an $200 ITAR limit?

The limit was increased to 500 afaik

If you order less than $100 of regulated for export stuff (e.g. gun parts) from Brownells, there is no additional paperwork. If you order more than $100 but less than &500 they will email you a form that you have to fill out, sign and return to them before they complete the order. The form is an end use statement that you are buying the items for yourself and will not further export them to another country. It took me about 5 minutes to complete the form, sign it, and scan and email it back to Brownells the last time I placed an order.
