Pursuit LT or CVA Wolf?

Looking to buy a cheap Muzzy so I can get the extra doe tags. :)
Anyone know what one is better or least worst. haha

Pursuit LT or CVA Wolf? They are both the same price both break action both the same length barrel.

the PURSUIT LT has an aluminum ram rod ..i had an LT and it let go after shooting it [approx. 95 times] it has an ALLOY frame and that is it's weakness. got a PURSUIT PRO and the trigger pull is about 35 lbs..both ML are junk ..my next one will be a T/C TRIUMPH
 
like gunasauras says , i've got a cva wolf mag. and i'm happy with it. i had a traditions tracker and for the difference in the money there's no comparison. the wolf is a break action and the trigger pull is o.k.
 
I have the Pursuit LT and i like it very much. Accurate with Hornady SST sabots (250 and 300 gr), 100 gr of loose 777 or Pyrodex, it will group under 2" at 100m consistantly if I do my part. It even shoots round balls fairly decent using hornady round ball plastic patches and 60 gr of powder..The rifle is rated to 150 gr of powder but at the range I have seen no benefit in the "magnum charge" Hope this helps a bit

This is the first failure I have heard of. Traditions are entry level guns, but I've never had a problem with them. I've owned both in-lines and hawken style carbines and they are efficient guns out to 100 yds. If you have the budget spend a little more money as Black Powder suggested and buy a T/C. If your not planning on doing a whole lot of shooting the Pursuit is a very affordable gun (check SIR).

It's a shame to hear anyones bad experiences with any firearm (Mr.Black Powders post). My Pursuit LT funtions just the way it's supposed to. No complains yet after 500+ rounds. The trigger on my LT is crisp and breaks at about 4 lbs. It was my first "entry level" BP rifle, I cannot see myself upgrading to a different inline. I was happy with my Traditions product and their customer service I bought a Traditions Hawken 50 cal percussion. I like it as well, and the double set trigger is very light, I'm guessing around 1.5 - 2 lbs (haven't put a guage on it). Just my 2c.

I see traditions has a new model out called a Yukon .50 cal. At WSS it's listed at $169.99. it also has 209 ignition and can handle 150 gr of powder. it's called a drop breech action. I wouldn't mind finding some feedback on them. I've had a knight for 8 years now and have no intention of changing, but just curious.
