Put your hunting where you mouth is!

I'm completely mystified as to how this can still be so misconstrued.
For people that so despise my attempt to see who is out there, what they are hunting and what they use to hunt you guys are hanging around a long time.
As I said before no one has anything to prove.
You're certainly not proving anything to me.
In fact as soon as you stoop to name calling and petty insults any cohesive argument you may've had begins to lack substance.
Then one of you chose to nurse this inexplicable grudge and express it on another unrelated thread.
At least people like Seb C understand why I posted this thread.
Good work with that white tail, mate.
And you're right about victory beers. :D

I agree it is a bit weird...

Maybe you pushed the buttons on those that haven't been able to get out and enjoy hunting as much as they would like too...

I've also shot 8 deer with a bow and arrow...

Moose, black bear, mountain goat etc...

One day I would like to get over to Australia and do a bit of Kangaroo hunting... :)

Only if the person reading it is terribly self conscious...Or maybe the shoe fits.;)

I think Gatehouse nailed it.

There was no malicious attempt in this thread but a couple guys seem to have taken exception and turned it around.

Cut out the name calling and crap or I'll just shut the thing down if you guys can't play nice. Nobody is pointing fingers, just trying to have some fun, let it go!

I'm only one of those couple of guys that dared to stand up againsts the masses Madgod, along with Kilam or whatever his handle may be. But that been said, we voiced our displeasure towards his "insinuations" go ahead, beat the crap out of me for incorrect spelling. Having said that, should you feel that free speech ought to be locked up, go ahead and do so. But give a thought about the kind of "liberal censorship" that you promote in doing so.

and if you and Gatehose are such buds, I gotta a roomy wall tent for sale :D

Bull####, read it again and try to concentrate. :D

With free speech comes a little responsibility. Sure, we have lots of silly humour here, but the name calling on this thread isnt' free speech, it's just name calling.

Anyone terribly offended by the spirit of this thread is self conscious- People that have some self confidence dont' get too worked up about someone on the internet asking about credibility.

I love that you took your Kudu with a 303, DirtyOldSix.
Don't get me wrong....30-06s are fine but it's good to see that the Old Three-Oh, as we call them here, is still doing the job in Africa.
And nice turkeys, 7.62mm.
That 870 looks like a tidy rig.

Wow, there's a lot of guys doing a lot of neat hunts here. My last day of big game hunting was this May 3rd, I took a really nice cinnamon color black bear boar. I used my pre-64 Model 70 in 300 H&H and my own handloads with a 180 grain Nosler Partition at 3050 fps. One shot at a little over 100 yards. I shot him in the forehead so there's not a lot to say about the bullets performance. The scope was a Burris Fullfield 3-9X40. It was a great hunt with beautiful weather and good walking country. Since then I've also done a lot of varmint hunting around my farm.
