Interesting fleshing blade; commercially made for the purpose? For years I've used an old bayonet picked up at a gunshow, one of these days I'll have to overcome my inherent cheapness and get the proper tool for the job.

Yes its made for the purpose of fleshing , works very and was highly recommended. I made the curve of the fleshing beam to match the curve of the fleshing knife and fleshing goes quite well.
