PVC-50 (Gen2) Magazines

They hold 14 rounds. They fit perfectly in a Keltec SU-16F. Very tight in a T-97, you actually have to yank them out with force. Apparently that's a problem with the T-97 magwell not being properly to spec though.

They hold the bolt open properly in both rifles. Can't comment on feeding though - I'll actually be firing mine for the first time tomorrow... Can't wait! :D

^^^This, people need to stop tip toeing around this issue like they are doing something wrong, it is 100% legal, no and's, if's or but's about it.

Relax guys, I know it's perfectly legal. My question was meant to be read with a bit of tongue in cheek, but just a bit. I'll disagree with you Outlander and Zeuce, CZ858's were "legal", Swiss Green's, so were short barreled revolvers, calibers like .32 ACP and .25 were common and perfectly "legal" in small auto's. The Law is a fickle beast, it can work against or for you in the blink of an eye. I see no reason to loudly advertise something that is clearly to our collective benefit to those who may, in the blink of an eye make the owners of such mags in violation of "the law". I feel the same way about BP firearms if you know what I mean;).
Tippie toe? No. Cautious? Always.

Thanks to those who answered my question. I think the mag-pull fix would do the trick.

My ACR doesn't like the mags. They work fine in my brothers AR but in my ACR it pops the first round out when inserted in the magwell no matter how many rounds I put in it

I love my PCV-50 Magazines. For those who don't quite get the legality of it, check out my video and I try to explain it as easily as possible.

these did not work well in my DA556. If i put 13 or 14 rounds in then it warps the outer walls of the mag too much and becomes too tight to fit into the magwell. Also experienced the top rounds popping out when inserting. Gonna just run the LAR-15 mags as they seem to be much more reliable for me.

I used mine this weekend for the first time. Loaded 15 each in 4 mags. Used in a DD M4 v7. They fit tight due to slight warping of the lips with 15 rnds. They need a good whack to seat on a closed bolt but feed OK and drop when empty. All in all no major issues.

Does anyone know if there's a specific RCMP bulletin that mentions the Beowulf 50 mags as being legal to use with .223 ammo (something along the lines of the bulleting which says LAR 15 mags are legal to use in rifles)? I'd like to have something to print out and keep with me when I'm shooting.

Thanks guys. I have that bulletin already. I was hoping there would be a RCPM document that explicitly states that the mags are legal to use with .223 ammo. I'm just trying to collect as much backup as possible to avoid any unnecessary headache's if I'm ever questioned about their legality. Cheers!

IME, they fit 14, but on closed bolt, I prefer to only load 13, so my first mag gets 14 and the rest 13. With that being said, I shoot matches and not off the bench, so not having to clear stoppages saves more precious seconds than the occasional extra mag change.

you will never see that. the law cannot say specifically that you MAY use .223 in a beowulf mag so they can seize (steal) your rifles on the spot and then its up to you to prove your innocence and get your property back.
