Hello All,

I'm interested in purchasing a compensator for my 308 rig, and I had finally narrowed it down to a PWS PRC (http://primaryweapons.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=127), a nice looking unit and by all means rather effective.

However, after checking a few places - Questar among them - it seems that they're out of stock pretty much everywhere and that the manufacture hasn't quoted deliveries since last year. Given that it's another couple months before my Bell & Carlson stock arrives, and it will be going to the smith's to bed as well as install a Badger Ordnance box mag, I suppose I can wait a little longer. No way I'm lathing and installing something like this myself; I kinda want my rifle to work afterwards, lol.

Can anyone recommend another brake? I've also looked at the SJC Titan Compensator, as well as the Seekings Precision Advanced Tactical Compensator. Even better would be a place that has them in stock and can get them to me within the decade.

I got mine over Questar 1-2 years ago. Works very well on my .308. Very impressed with this unit. And yes you will need a gunsmith to thread your barrel.

Did you check PWS web? You can order from them. ;)

If not I suggest a badger. No need to thread the barrel then.
