Questar is listing new uppers for PWS piston rifles.

Changes:

1. Barrel now free floated.
2. Vltor Keymod fore-end.
3. The front piece of the piston is now easily detached for cleaning and changing charging handles.
4. Adjustable Gas System (thanks Sigger69!)

SWEEET! Maybe a MK112 in 5.56 or 300BLK will be in my future... I read on another forum that PWS is so back ordered that they've stopped taking back order orders.
 
Not worried. As the saying goes, if it isn't broke then dont fix it.

My PWS MK116 is most certainly not broke and most probably won't ever.

But it's good news all the same :)
 
My PWS MK109 in 300BLK is fine just the way it is. The only "upgrade" I see there that would be nice is the easilly removable piston to make it easier to take apart during cleaning.
The adjustable gas system would make tuning for different loads easier but I don't think it's really needed.

Interested to see some pics of the new ones though.
 
If the new Mod 1s come in I might consider getting another upper but sure not going to make a deposit on one with a waiting game!
 
Who else carries PWS in Canada other than Questar? Questar says they are special order only so looks like they won't stock them unless you put down 25% and wait.
 
Whats really bull#### is their 25% deposit is non-refundable. It hasnt been a problem in the past for me with Que but now with the hysteria down south could be a very very long wait.
