looking into buying a pws AR and wonderd what you guys think of them who own or have shot these? Im looking at the mk110. hear alot of good things about them. thanks.
 
****... just wrote a long reply on my iPod and lost it. Gonna keep it short this time.

I've owned 2 of these rifles. A 14.5" and currently a 12.5". Absolutely awesome rifles. IMO, one of the best piston AR's available. Just google reviews on it and you will understand why I like them so much.
 
PWS is the best civvie street AR I have run. I have a Mk112 in FDE and I have run it hard as a serious training and instructional firearm. Since I acquired the PWS I have put about 4000-5000rds down the pipe. I have used it in the sand, dust, snow & rain. I can hit a 20" gong at 500m with great regularity using a T-1 sight with no magnification. So far I have cleaned it three times. As of Sunday morning I have had zero stoppages.
 
Great reviews! but why doesn't Questar carry them anymore? I see they have one Diablo 7.5" left and that's it :(.

I think I may get the diablo, love that little 7.5", anyone have one of these ?
 
I have a Diablo- its a great gun has worked perfectly. My only complaint is that comes with just a regular GI type crappy trigger- I immediately swapped it out with a Geissele SSA when I got it. I have recently changed it again with a SD3G but haven't had a chance to test it out yet.

Nice, good to know! Do you know if other AR type accessories will work on this rifle? like ASAP sling, BAD lever, left handed charging handle, ambi safety? I really want to get this diablo, or the MK110, but I'm a lefty and I need to be sure that I can make this thing fully ambi.

Oh and do you know if the muzzle device can be swapped out for any other muzzle break? I have a KAC Triple Tap that I wouldn't mind putting on there if possible.

All the PWS rifles come with their proprietary enhanced buffer tube that doesn't require a castle nut- you would have to change it with a regular tube if you wanted to use the ASAP. The tube it comes with has QD sockets FYI. The rifle I believe will accept the BAD lever and you could change out the muzzle device although the cqb comp it comes with is pretty good. The charging handle is attached to the bolt carrier/piston rod. I haven't attempted to disassemble it as I have had no need, but I think it can be done by removing one pin. You could always just get the upper instead of changing out tubes etc. Check out the PWS we site- there are photos that are probably more useful to you than my description,

We haven't stopped carrying PWS... about a month ago PWS notified all their dealers that they would no longer accept new orders (on many of their uppers, lowers and rifles), until they got caught up on their backorders and could once again give delivery estimates for new orders. Since we can't even place the order with PWS at this time there is no way we can accept orders from customers... so we wait for PWS to notify us that they will begin accepting new orders again.

PWS is not the only US Manufacturer who has started to do this... if demand in the US continues to outstrip supply this issue will become more common throughout the industry.

I just bought a MK109 upper in 300 Blackout. I haven't had a chance to get it to the range yet but it looks amazing and I am super excited to get some time off work to take it out for a test run.
I've been forming brass and loading every evening for a week now so I'll be ready when shutdown is over and I get to have a life again.

I have 2 PWS rifles, a 14.5" in 5.56 and a 7.5" in 7.62x39. Great units, probably the best piston gun for the price, maybe the best piston gun period.
