Pws

I never understood why people mixed uppers and lowers... wouldn't you want the whole rifle instead of a frankin gun? yes, I am very new to long guns.

Well, seeing as the elections are over and Obummer got re-elected, the only firearms we will be able to buy will be from other owners lol sad.

Scott spoke with PWS yesterday and it appears that they are once again accepting orders for uppers, lowers and rifles... however, from what Scott told me last night PWS is quoting him "150 to 180 day delivery" on most new orders.

After the election things have already started to go nuts down south... yesterday one of our US distributors said they had already taken something close to 10,000 orders by mid-afternoon. Many products are now sold out completely and they obviously have no idea when they will be able to get more as demand now far exceeds supply. Ammunition sales are going through the roof down there. We expect magazine sales to be right behind that.

We do have product orders already placed for many items but refilling inventory as it sells off is going to be a slow and tough process... not just for us but for all the Canadian dealers. Expect to see product shortages over the next few months and if history is any indicator then we'll probably see price increases as well.

Just thought I'd add more temptation for you guys...

Because you would only have one registered lower. Moreover, if that lower is a high quality one, with high quality parts it can be an advantage over say two separate lowers with parts that you'd wish you could upgrade.

So what you're sayin' is that I really should be ordering my PWS Hk416 enhanced buffer tube sooner rather then later!

Also, its just one LTATT to keep up to date. The less paperwork the better, especially in this situation!

What kind of sorcery is this?
Wherever you live must do things differently than Alberta. Here I have one LTATT that covers all my restricted firearms including all my pistols and AR's. I just make photocopies of it and stick one in every rifle and pistol case I own and never think about it again.

I started with one complete AR then bought a second upper then decided that I wanted another lower so I didn't need to keep swapping uppers. It's no more paperwork than before.
I guess you might be referring to the registration paperwork but I also just make copies of those and stick them in all the cases I use with the AR's.

I don't mind having a STAG lower and a PWS upper. Makes no difference as long as they function 100%.

Moreover, if that lower is a high quality one, with high quality parts it can be an advantage over say two separate lowers with parts that you'd wish you could upgrade.

I do agree with this statement though. Nice to have a high end lower instead of a few cheaply built ones. My other lower is an Armalite and it works 100% as well but I do notice the trigger isn't quite as nice as the STAG.
