Nutnfancy SHOT Show 2011: Beretta Set to Embarrass ACR!

It's one of the best 45's on the market along with HK45 and Sig P220. Comes with a pelican case and you can shoot lead through it.

Accuracy was better than my Glock 21sf but not as good as my Kimber 1911.

The trigger was better than I expected, but I'm not convinced that it'll survive a lot of shooting. I'm not averse to poly guns (I have 2 and one is a 45), but I'm still not convinced a poly feed ramp will resist abrasion over heavy useage. As far as it being 'one of the best 45's on the market' - perhaps not. It certainly isn't an HK45, hell it isn't even an M&P45. These (H&K and Smith) being the two modern 45's recomended by Hackathorn and Vickers these days. It is very colourful and the case is uber nice though.

I like the length of the grip.

I wish that the fullsize M&P45 grip frame was shorter (only eight or nine rounds long, rather than ten) or, alternatively, that S&W offered the compact M&P45 with a 106mm barrel.

Time will tell.

It's a great pistol. Absorbs the recoil quite a bit. It's a pretty large gun as well. I enjoy mine a lot and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
