I enjoy my .22 GSG1911 a lot - but the sights could be improved upon. The gun is certainly worth every penny but those plastic sights are something else...
The gun comes with 3 front sights, and has the medium one installed. It was shooting at 2pm with that while aiming at 6 o'clock. I replaced it with the tall one - and now it shoots at 5pm while aiming at the center.
Considering costs, what would be the cheapest FO front/ adjustable rear combination that would fit this gun AND could be installed by a layman? TIA.
P.S. For those swapping the front sights on their GSG - the sight is plastic so when you have the urge to tighten the setscrew, my advise is: don't.
You'll strip the tread like I did. The sight is tight enough to stay in place without the setscrew, there's no recoil to speak of.
