Q: Nova Scotia Hunter Safety Patch

Is the Nova Scotia Hunter Safety Patch still given out when you pass the course?

I found one on a too small BO hat I bought and am thinking of putting it on my vest, but I have two vests and would like to get another patch. I won't be taking the course until I find out where/when they are teaching the PAL courses.

I heard from a local hunter that a hunting store took over the PAL course, so I don't know how that is going to pan out for those who live in other parts of NS.
