I think Type 03 would be able to get into Canada easier seeing how it looks more like an a AR-18 than an AK like the Type 81. Plus, 15 rounds of 5.56 from a Beowulf mag=Win! 5 rounds of 7.62 from a pinned AK mag=Meh...

I'd be down for one. I have a csa sa 58 in 223 and its fun, but this rifle looks like some thing from the 70's-80's. I just like the way it looks.

I like the looks of the 5.8mm better. That being said if CanAm could bring them in in 7.62 soviet I would jump on one because the look would be similar... The NATO version just doesn't please me.

Every gun made in China is or has been explored for Canada. If it can come in, it will. The RCMP takes years to approved new semi-auto designs. So who knows what the ETA will be.

Thanks to all the dealers and retailers for importing firearms. But I have to ask... How many times do people have to ask for eta?
It's not like there is no "dealer news feed" at the top of the page.... (Still want my t97nrr updates though )
