QD Sling Adapter

Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone might be able to help me. I have a Colt Canada IUR and I just purchased a Magpul MS4 sling with QD attachments. I have a Magpul CTR stock so I can use the QD mounts on the rail and stock for a two point attachment but the attachment point on the buffer tube is not a QD so I can't do a single point. Does anyone know if an adapter exists that would allow me to modify the buffer tube attachment point without actually removing it and changing it out for a QD?

I've attached a pic to show what I have now.

Just remove it and put on a BCM QD end plate it will be way cheaper than the adapters

Thanks guys. I know the best option is to replace what I have with a QD but I don't have the tool or the "know how" to replace it. The nut is staked and I don't want to mess anything up which is why I was hoping for a less permanent solution.

You have to remove the stake nut to put a new plate there, end of story. It's no big deal really. Just take it to a gunsmith.
