I wouldn't sell that ammo. You never have too much, but you can always have too little. In a few months there might be another "panic" and people will be hoarding .223 and you'll want to shoot but won't have any. Then your SOL.

But thats just me.

Not too sure if you mentioned it yet but what do you intend to do with your rifle?

I would get Daniel Defense Omega Rail 7.
Have one and love it.
Tried others from UTG, Samson, to KAR....the difference DD from the rest...oval shape...feels the best in my hands...and also the lightest.
A bit pricey.....someones theory for something like that...save your money...wait...then buy the best.

Or just do what I did, dive right in and buy it......eat Kraft Dinner for a month......no more Kraft Dinner

Ya the omega rail was originally what I had ordered almost a year ago from wolv supplies, it was back ordered and long after I forgot about it and after I got laid off they called me and said its about to ship but I had no cash haha.

@50 cal

Im gonna have to take a peak at that forsure.

Would they have one that fit on my gun tho? :S

Also, those side covers can you like peel just a small chunk off it and leave the rest? I was looking at a few pics of the model with the CF using it and they have chunks taken out of the middle for a mount.

Thats a terribly worded question but its the best I can do at midnight haha.

Oh ya Troy makes all lengths, a FF 7" carbine length is $248 at fabsports, the beauty of these rails is they drop in super easy, it connects right up to the pic rail on your upper to make one continous rail, it looks clean and sharp. qualitys is tops....

sweet well I find out in Feb if I get a really good paying summer job and if I do its definitely a toss up between the omega or something from Troy :)

also to earlier poster, I haven't fully decided exactly what I want to do with my rifle as I said before Im still really new to moding. Other then attaching a vert grip and saving up for probably an EOtech sight its still out in the open.

Cosmetic wise though I already know I want to work towards a two-tone desert/black style unless I find a auto-body mechanic that can airbrush a nice camo job on the whole thing when its done.

I guess after all this Im still buying something top quality haha oh well saves me from having to do it in the future.

Take a look at the Midwest stuff that Wolverine has, I've got one on my Norc and it's great. Good solid rail fore end, clean machining and nicely finished. It's a free float 7 inch and bolted up with no issues after removing the delta ring assembly.

Those rail covers in my pics are Magpul panels, they come in 7" lengths but you can cut and trim them to any length you want. You can also place them any way you like on the rail.

I got them from Brownells ther $11 each. You can order lots of magpul stuff from Brownells, Im kinda a Magpul slut, I love their swag...
