Hi,
I need a quality scope for my daughter and her new Mossberg 702 Plinkster.

right now, It's wearing a cheap bushnell 3x9x32 and clarity is not really good.

Ok, I'm the only one to see this but since she just show a new interest in shooting, I just want to have her some quality stuff to keep her in the sport of shooting and appreciate this.

My question: which one should I buy?? Weaver seem good as far as price goes on, Leupold seem right also but don't know the others....

I need something compact, 50 yards paralax and 4X fixed.

I'm willing to pay around 250$ but lower price will be good too!!;)

Any ideas?

Nikon makes one in a rimfire specific model, and it's only 160 bucks.

If it isn't going to see any hard use I would think it would be more than enough.

Looks like a nice piece for that kind of money anyways.

Personally I would go with the Leupold 2-7 Rimfire, but that's just me.

The Leupold 4x and 2-7x rimfire scopes are pretty nice optics. They cost more money than the Nikon P-22, but I never had a chance to compare them side by side for the value of clear glass.

I'm perfectly happy with my $50 Bushnell 4x rimfire scope, but if you want to move up to stuff that's better than you need, (and I don't mean there is anything wrong with that,) I think the Weaver qualifies. I have modern production Weaver scopes - a K4 and a K6 - and like them.
