Quality skinning knives

My favorite brand of knives Is Buck knives,as evidenced by my name, lol.I love the cabèlas alaskan guide series of knives ,s30v blades and they hold a great edge.i have a few customs in 52100 that are very good also.i don't like Grohmann knives at all,I've tried to like them because I'm nova scotian, but the habdles and blade shapes don't do it for me,and their steel sucks compared to what they used for carbon steel back in the day.

Cheap plastic handled knives might work but I prefer a good quality knife .

I have Victorinox knives. All other pales in comparison.
The Victorinox skinning knife beats others 10 to 1.
One slip with my sharpened Victorinox butcher knives and you will need stiches.
Any knife that touches hide should never touch meat. Same with hands, gloves.

Although I don't have his knife yet, 9 months ago I ordered 1, he didn't have stock, said he would be getting to that model in the summer if I wanted to wait. And I think like 9 out of 10 people don't ever contact you again, not him though. I got an email from him yesterday saying he is caught up, has that model blades made, and if I'm still interested, what handle material would i like, most people go with whatever he said. I replied yes ill take one, and whatever handle material he thinks best. I also said he wouldn't scare me away if prices had gone up, as I don't think there's 1 thing I can buy today that hasn't gone up. He replied, no, they are still $150.00. And since I thought it was $200.00, 150 sounds great. Anyway, assuming he follows through, I would recommend him just for getting back to me. Hope it's a great knife.

Well, got knife yesterday, better than I expected, nice heavy sheath, sure not making much money on these knives at 150.00.
